Salon Policies

We hope you understand the need for our salon policies. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

  • Masks are not required, however your stylist would be happy to wear one if that would make you feel most comfortable. Please let your stylist or the front desk know about your preference during check in.

  • Please be aware that we require a credit card on file to reserve your appointment. 

  • We accept cash and all major credit cards. Gratuity is cash or Tippy only. The front desk will show you how to use our Tippy platform if that is your preferred method. Tippy does not require you to download an app.

  • As a courtesy to our guests, we offer TEXT confirmations 3-5 days before any appointment! Please opt-in for appointment notifications by replying “Y” when prompted via text. If you do not opt-in, you will not receive our automated confirmation texts. 

  • A prompt confirmation is greatly appreciated, and allows us to run our appointment book efficiently!

  • Our cancellation & reschedule policies allow us the time to inform our standby guests of any new availability, and allows us to keep our talented team members employed. 

  • We understand that appointments may need to be modified. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we respectfully request that you contact us as soon as possible. This enables us to schedule another client and, in turn, maintains a higher availability of services for you and other guests. Any appointment modified within 48 hours is subject to our cancellation policy and will be charged accordingly.

  • Appointments canceled or rescheduled within 48 hours will result in a fee of 50% of your scheduled appointment charged to your credit card on file. Any “no-shows”, cancellations or reschedules within 24 hours or less will result in a 100% fee of your scheduled appointment charged to your credit card on file. 

  • If your appointments are frequently rescheduled, a non-refundable and non-transferable reschedule fee or service deposit will apply. Excessive abuse of cancellations, “no-shows” or reschedules may result in refusal of service.

  • If running late for an appointment, please contact us ahead of time. We will do our best to accommodate your appointment, however arrivals more than 10 minutes late may be rescheduled or canceled, with applicable same-day cancellation/reschedule fee applied. This is at the discretion of salon management. 

  • As much as we love children, we ask that you please arrange child care on the date of your hair appointment. Excess visitors during appointments are not recommended.

  • We love healthy hair! Our stylists will recommend products to best suit your needs. Our color services are only guaranteed when purchasing the cleanse / condition / treatment regimen recommended by your stylist.

  • The most efficient way to reserve an appointment is to book online. You can also call or text our salon directly at 773-904-8540.

  • Consultation appointments are always complimentary. We book a 15 minute consultation for all new clients.

  • Some appointments may require a formal consultation appointment prior to scheduling your service, however our virtual consultation tool, Snap Snip, is often sufficient.

  • A thorough consultation lets your stylist get to know your hair, and create custom service recommendations for you.

  • Please disclose any/all chemical services to the best of your knowledge so our team can make the proper recommendations.

  • Healthy hair is our passion. Some color services may take several appointments to achieve your hair goals safely.

  • When having your hair styled for a special occasion, we recommend wearing a button-up blouse so that you can change without disrupting your hair style.

  • We love featuring our gorgeous clients on Instagram. Capturing your appointment helps us promote our talented stylists!
