Dani is the Lead Stylist of The Gilded Lily. Her unparalleled ability to take her clients' words and bring them to life are her greatest gift. It begins with a strong willingness to listen and ask the right questions to gain a thorough understanding of not only the desired look, but also the personality of each individual. With over 15 years of experience and a warm, caring demeanor, she naturally develops an emotional bond with her clients which make her more friend than stylist. Add her extreme passion for her craft and it's no wonder her clientele is so staunchly loyal.

Fun fact: Dani never knows names of t.v. shows or celebrities, so don’t bother asking (we don’t).

    The perfect maintenance session between Lived-in, Refresh & Refine, and Blonding Sessions. It’s ideal for those looking to combat unwanted tones, such as brassiness, in their blonde hair or refresh their solid color between more extensive color treatments.

    For the biggest changes! Think: a natural brunette going platinum, a guest looking to correct a previous color experience from another salon, or a DIY color job gone wrong. All corrections/transformations will require a consultation, a deposit, and at least three hours of your time. During the consultation, your stylist may recommend a strand test to determine the best course of action to maintain the integrity of your hair.

  • I’ve been seeing Dani for years, and I don’t know why it’s taken so long to write this. Subconsciously, I imagine it’s because I selfishly don’t want her calendar to keep booking up months into the future or her prices to keep (very, very deservedly) rising. But, I’m trying to be less selfish during the holidays, so all I can tell you is the Dani is hands down the best colorist in Chicago by far. She can do rich espressos and bright blondes and anywhere in between. I know, she’s taken me from brown to blonde to dark brown again. Her color always “slaps”, as the cool kids say. I put my absolute trust in her when it comes to my color and you should too (but please don’t book my spot!)
